Many apologies on my part for being relatively inactive. Sometimes life feels too hard to keep up with :\
As my first year of college ends the next begins, and so do full-time classes and working as a TA/tutor.
Good luck to the rest of you who are still caught up in academics like me!
Hopefully this year will be better than the last.

You should look for a cheaper place if you have problems with the rent perhaps. I know it sucks but maybe if youd look for a shared appartment with a room for yourself and shared other rooms? Its way less to pay and if your lucky you might end up with some nice people and what would be better than making friends AND saving money?
